He's racked up over 500 coyote kills proving his proficiency in calling western coyotes. Joe's resume includes being a hunting and fishing guide in Alaska, professional meat cutter, Army soldier, author, and he produced and starred in a bear hunting video. An avid handgun hunter, Joe is a dedicated Thompson/Center Contender and Carbine advocate although a custom Remington 700 VS is his go-to gun for calling coyotes.

![]() Lorena, TX Pro Staff Member This guy is on my pro staff not because he's my brother but because he has megatons of experience hunting a variety of game. He's hunted small game and deer in Illinois, deer and elk in Colorado, geese in Iceland, Dall sheep, caribou, moose and birds in Alaska, and deer, hogs, ducks, geese, exotic game, and varmints in his home state of Texas. Oh, did I mention he's also a powerhouse predator caller/hunter! Coyotes, arctic fox, cross fox, bobcats, and on one occasion a feral cat have all responded to his calling. Ken's a published author with over 24 magazine articles to his credit, and is currently writing a coyote hunting book. After serving 21 years in the Air Force, Ken retired to pursue his hobbies.

![]() Terre Haute, IN Field Staff Advisor Scott Dean is the newest addition to the Prostaff. Scott urrently lives in Terre Haute Indiana with his wife and 4 kids. He is a 16 year veteran firefighter and was promoted to Station Lieutenant in 2002. Scott possess a deep rooted passion for hunting coyotes. Hunting them in the winter months and calling them into digital camera range in the summer. He brings his overwhelming passion to the team and is never satisfied with his knowledge of hunting tactics, calling ability and his understanding of the coyotes lifestyle. Scott began his hunting lifestyle as a young boy hunting squirrel and rabbit with his father. The love for the outdoors found him chasing deer and other game after school and on weekends, through out his teenage years. He has also coon hunted with his Black and Tan coon hounds for 16 years. He has competed in archery 3-D tournaments and bass tournaments, winning several of both locally in Indiana as well. Scott’s second passion puts him in the spring turkey woods chasing Indiana Eastern Turkey, calling for both himself and several friends.
