Hello. My name is Tony Tebbe and welcome to www.CustomPredatorCalls.com. Hunting: I've been a hunter my entire life, hunting just about everything. I've been a dedicated predator hunter for over 20 years. Calling coyotes has always been my passion. I call every weekend from October thru March and enjoy an annual coyote calling trips to Idaho, Nevada, Texas, Nebraska, and Illinois. A number of years ago, I was on a self hunt for elk in Colorado, I called and shot 13 coyotes in 3 days, by myself. It was much more exciting than the 5x5 I shot on the trip. At that point, I made up my mind on Predator Hunting. Since then, I have focused primarily on predators, giving up hunting most other species. On occasion, I do hunt deer and turkey. Family: Though born and raised, our whole lifes, in South-Central Illinois, my wife (Dawn) and I raise our 4 children in Cedar Rapids, IA. Dawn and I were raised on farms and value family above all else. Our teenage daughter has friends that think we are "weird", because we have a sit-down family dinner every night. If family values are labeled as "Weird" in this day and age, I'll take it as a compliment. We raise our children with the hunting tradition. My fondest hunting memories are ones like "Snow goose hunting with my wife in the field, while she was 9 months pregnant.", "My daughter's first calling trip. Bringing in a nice female yote at 20 yards.", "My son's first rabbit hunting trip, when he could hardly lift his legs over the grass.", "My daughter's first turkey hunt where she fell asleep on my lap while on stand.", "My daughter's first duck hunt, spotting incoming teal better than most hunters.", "My wife releasing the greyhounds on a good coyote run.", "Any number of calling trips with my brother, Ken.", etc... Take your children hunting, so you don't have to hunt for your children. Call Building: I own and operate TT Custom Predator Calls and TONY TEBBE GAME CALLS. My goal is simple. Create calls that work, giving a caller versatility and functionality on the calling stand. A custom call is something special that can be handed down to keep the tradition of calling alive for generations.
